A real AIS (Automatic Identification System) individual to fix on the lifejacket to guide paramedics.

Safelink R10 SRS is designed as an individual tag search and rescue that integrates the AIS technology.
The crew, or any other ship in the vicinity can quickly locate and rescue a man overboard with the plotter or PC Board receiving AIS.

The SRS Safelink R10 is designed as a personal search and rescue for people moved onto a ship, equipped with a compatible Chartplotter AIS, to locate and rescue a crewmember into the water quickly.

The Safelink R10 SRS issues target data on man to the Sea including structured alert messages, GPS position data and a series of unique identification number to the plotter of the edge. A built-in GPS receiver high precision provides the accurate position data to facilitate the quick recovery of people fallen in the water.

The Safelink R10 SRS emits continuously for 24 hours minimum and its battery has a service life of 7 years. It is also equipped with a flashing LED that facilitates the detection of night and an auto function test with indication of the status of the battery.

The Safelink R10 SRS is indispensable companion of all marine concerned for his safety. Using this new equipment, as easy to use as it is technologically sophisticated, ensures the best chance of survival in a situation of man overboard.

Installation and activation: The Safelink R10 SRS must be installed on the lifejacket using the provided clip before going at sea.
The Safelink R10 SRS manually activates in two simple steps. The first by sliding the Orange locking device. It is normally left in place to avoid any accidental activation. Once the orange device unlocked, use it to remove the Red covering of marketing. This action deploys the antenna and activates automatically the SRS R10. If the R10 SRS has been installed on the life jacket by a professional, it becomes semi-automatic, swelling of the vest then automatically triggers the SRS R10.

Operation:
-Install the Safelink R10 on the life jacket with the clip provided, prior to a sea.
-The Safelink SRS R10 is activated manually in an emergency.
-A unique emergency message is emitted in the direction of all AIS receivers and tracers of AIS compatible cards within a radius of 4 nautical miles (nominal range).
-The icon dedicated to AIS SAR distress signals a request for emergency relief for a situation of man to the sea.
-Just move the pointer to the Chartplotter on distress AIS icon to display specific data including the GPS position of the target.
-Provides the accurate position data of distance and rehabilitation to locate the person (s) who has (have) need for assistance.
